Community Comes Together To Fight Hunger
Photos from the first "Free Mobile Food Market" held on Saturday, June 27, 2020 in the parking lot of the now closed Save-A-Lot grocery store. It was the only grocery store in the St. Paul's area. Community leaders came together to form the Community Food Disparities Coalition (CFDC), and provided free groceries to local St. Paul's area residents including Lindenwood, Barraud Park, Huntersville, Brambleton, Calvert Square, Young Terrace and Tidewater Gardens. Volunteers delivered food to each home in these communities. Stay tuned for more from the CFDC!
